September Book Clubs

About The Clubs:

'Rated R for Romance' is the club for people who love fluff, romcoms, low angst and light spice.

'Dark and Dirty' is for people who love their books with content warnings miles long and/or straight up smutty.

Timeline:

8/30 - August Club Goes Live
9/27 - Dark & Dirty meets at 6pm
9/28 - Rated R for Romance meets at 5pm

Meetings will take place in the evenings after the shop is closed and cost $5 to cover the after hours operations.

Books:

Dark & Dirty - You've heard of books like Get In My Swamp (the Shrek romance), Squeak (the balloon animal romance), Stuffed (the pillow romance) or The Deviled Egg Made Me Do It (the, you guessed it, deviled egg romance). Books that initially make you go "hmmm..wait..." The task will be to find one you haven't read yet, show up to book club and share with the class in classic School Report style presentation. This one's meant to be fun, a little silly and a good time and to get everyone reading more outside of what they typically read. This is NOT an opportunity to shit on this style of book or their authors or make people feel bad for reading them or enjoying them. NOTE: everyone is reading a different book so if your first pick is already taken, have a second choice ready!
